Landscape
This collection of collages and paintings is inspired by what I see in the natural world
with it's different views and elements.
Through exploring the colour, light, shape, contrast and space.
Taking them apart and putting them back together.
Capturing and connecting the vastness, power and detail, fragility, at one.
The creative process is very organic and fluent, an exploration, and the results a making in the moment.
Duality
In this series I have tried to explore the thoughts and feelings that come with change.
The conflict, struggle, contradiction, strength and peace.
Finding ways to express that one can't be without the other...
The idea, image, symbol, come first. A very tangible, concrete starting point, which then develops into
a more focused end result.

Current Work
At the moment I am working on 2 series of paintings.
One is based on the landform collages, using these as studies for larger canvasses.
Scaling up and exploring especially the contrast between the elements.
The other is inspired by one of the paintings in the duality series, dual III (metamorphosis).
Taking this as a starting point, combining figure painting, different material textures and symbols,
I am finding an expression to 'Woman Being'.
